Aroma: Sweet, slightly heavy and herbaceous. Hints of nuts. History/Myth: Sclarea is from the Greek skeria, meaning hardness clarus is from the Latin clear. Caution: Mildly sedative. Should be avoided before driving any distance or when consuming alcohol. Excessive amounts can cause headaches. Avoid during Pregnancy Wellbeing: Calming and soothing, encouraging a feeling of wellbeing, which can be helpful during convalescence and useful when a sense of perspective is needed.
